Upon considering the terrifying possibilities of Yan Luoxi's actions, Shao Junhe's expression instantly turned anxious. "Please open the room door immediately; I suspect something has happened to my girlfriend," he demanded of the hotel staff.

The hotel staff, despite treating Shao Junhe like a deity, hesitated when asked to simply open another guest’s room without permission. She looked at Yan Luoxi's room and then back at Shao Junhe, unsure what to do.

"I order you to open the door right now," said Shao Junhe coldly, his sharp gaze intimidating. "If anything happens to the guests inside, I will take full responsibility for any consequences. But if something has happened to her and her life is in danger, can you be responsible"

Scared by Shao Junhe's commanding presence, the hotel staff hurriedly used a spare key to open Yan Luoxi’s room.

The moment he saw the door open, Shao Junhe rushed inside and immediately spotted Yan Luoxi lying on the bed. His first action was to check her breathing by gently placing his hand under her nose.

Yan Luoxi's bloody nasal discharge was hot and rapid, indicating a fever. Even so, Shao Junhe let out a small sigh of relief; this sick Yan Luoxi was still far better than what he had feared might happen.

Sao Junhe reached out to touch Yan Luoxi's forehead again. It was burning hot; she had a fever, and it didn't seem mild at all. "Luoxi... Luoxi..." He called her softly with worry and tenderness.

Although Yan Luoxi had a fever, she was still somewhat conscious. Upon hearing Sao Junhe's voice calling for her, she struggled to open her eyes. Through the haze, she saw a tall figure sitting beside the bed, looking at her with a smile on his handsome face.

She momentarily lost herself in thought; it seemed as if she was still living in the seaside villa and had mistakenly believed that Li An was by her side, smiling tenderly down at her. Did this mean that she only needed to fall ill to win back his heart Would he feel even a bit guilty seeing how distressed she was

Yan Luoxi trembled as she reached out her hand, wanting to touch the face she had longed for. My dear, you finally came to see me.

"...Luoxi, how do you feel I'll take you to the hospital."

The rather unfamiliar anxious voice startled Yan Luoxi from her dream. She blinked hard twice, trying to recognize who was sitting by her side. Her heart ached and she felt annoyed. "I don't want to go to the hospital. Why do you meddle in my affairs What are you still doing here pestering me Go away!" As soon as she spoke, she realized that her voice sounded somewhat hoarse.

Actually, Yan Luoxi was very tired and felt like every bone and muscle in her body hurt. Her head ached, her eyes ached, even her heart ached... She needed someone to be by her side and take care of her, but she insisted silently in her heart that she could manage on her own now as a single person—she didn't need anyone. Why did she still long for the warmth she had felt when Li An was by her side while sick

"Luo Xi, don't be stubborn. You have a severe cold, and we need to go to the hospital right away," Shao Junhe said anxiously as he reached out to help Yan Luoxi get up.

To her surprise, Shao Junhe actually dared to touch her. Her heart raced with anger as she looked at him; sparks seemed to fly from his eyes. She mustered all her strength and slapped him across the face. "Get away from me! Who asked you to act like a good Samaritan Whether I live or die has nothing to do with you. I told you to leave, but you keep pestering me. Get out of here before I see you again; your presence irritates me."

Shao Junhe's face was stinging from the slap. It was his first time being scolded and hit like this, which made him frown awkwardly for a moment.

The waiter standing nearby couldn't bear to see Yan Luoxi treat Shao Junhe like that any longer. He said indignantly, "Miss, how can you be so unreasonable This gentleman is concerned about you. Don’t you know how worried and anxious he was just now for your sake Even if he’s at fault, you could tell him that instead of treating him this way. It's too much."

Yan Luoxi realized she had been too harsh with Shao Junhe. Exhausted, she fell back onto the bed and thought about apologizing to him but couldn’t bring herself to do it. After pondering for a moment, she softly said, "Just leave me alone. I won't go to the hospital."

Shao Junhe was happy again when he saw Yan Luoxi finally speak to him politely. He ignored the pain in his face and turned to look outside at the gloomy rain. It really wasn’t a good time for Yan Luoxi to go to the hospital, so he said affectionately, "Alright, if you don't want to go to the hospital, we won’t. You rest here; I’ll go get a doctor or some medicine."

In front of such an earnest and kind Shao Junhe, Yan Luoxi couldn’t bear to be harsh anymore. Sweat was trickling down his forehead, and his thick eyelashes drooped like those of a pitiful child. She could hear how quickly his heart was beating from where she lay.

Yan Luoxi couldn't bear to hit or scold him anymore; she also found it impossible to be熱情如火 towards him. She simply closed her eyes, the heat burning within her making her feel like a little furnace. All she wanted was to sleep immediately, so she shut her eyes and ignored Shao Junhe.

This outcome could be considered a qualitative leap for Shao Junhe. He tucked Yan Luoxi's blanket and called the waiter over, asking him to take him outside the room.

"Where is your hospital or community service center I want to call a doctor over to treat her." Shao Junhe's gaze was urgent and his tone anxious.

"She treated you like that, yet you still care about her" The waiter looked at Shao Junhe in puzzlement, feeling indignant on his behalf. "What’s so good about her anyway"

After these two days of turmoil, Yan Luoxi's clothes were rumpled, her appearance was haggard and disheveled; she didn't look like herself at all. In fact, she looked quite ugly. The waiter couldn’t understand why Shao Junhe, who was so refined and handsome, would be captivated by Yan Luoxi.

Shao Junhe didn't pick up on the waiter's real intention; he gently glanced at the half-open door of Yan Luoxi’s room and smiled slightly. "Actually, she is a very kind person, it’s just that she has had some recent troubles which have affected her mood."

The waiter knew there was no point saying anything more, Shao Junhe was like an elegant prince, even without Yan Luoxi by his side he would never look at him. If he helped and cared for Yan Luoxi perhaps Shao Junhe would be grateful to him, or maybe he might remember him. would cost her half a year’s salary to purchase. As a woman herself, she couldn’t understand how Yan Luoxi could be so lucky as to meet such an amazing man."He went out," Yan Luoxi replied indifferent...
